Í Shenyang Beida Jade Bird School (SBJBS), located in Shenyang----the biggest city in Northeast China and capital of Liaoning Province, is a full-time boarding school with primary section, junior secondary section, senior secondary section, and preparation (pre-university) section as well as professional training section.
Í Shenyang Beida Education and Scientific Park Co., Ltd., invested to build SBJBS constructed with the design by ABCP Architecture-Urbanism from Canada.
Í SBJBS is the largest modern school of both Chinese and Western style in Northeast China, covering 155,000 square meters of land area with 110,000 square meters of building area.
Í SBJBS campus is divided into three areas including Administrative Area, Sports Center and Living Area.
Í Administrative Area consists of teaching center, management center and art center. Teaching Center has advanced teaching facilities and auxiliaries, specialized classrooms, multi-media laboratories, intelligent lecture theater and studios as well as campus network connected to Internet. Teachers＊ offices and other administrative departments are in management center linking to teaching center. Art center includes auditorium, art classrooms with locker rooms and closets and large-scale library full of various books as well as multi-media reading rooms.
Í Sport Center includes athletic field with 400m plastic running track, lawn football course, indoor swimming pool, gymnasiums for basketball, volleyball and table tennis and fitness, skating rink and etc.
Í On the west of SBJBS campus is the Living Area with four dormitory buildings for students, two dining halls and teachers＊ apartment. (each has a suite with toilet and washroom with hot water room, laundry room, learning rooms and activity rooms on each floor for students to share). There are Chinese food restaurants and western food restaurants as well as supermarkets in the dining halls which can accommodate 3000 students simultaneously..
& Administrative Management
Í Mr. Liu Changqing, former principal of Shenyang No. 31 Senior Secondary School, is now the first principal of SBJBS. He is entitled with Famous Educational Expert of Shenyang city and Excellent Principal in Liaoning Province, managing director of Liaoning Research Society of Educational Cybernetics, deputy director-general of Shenyang Association of Education, visiting professor of Shenyang Normal University and Shenyang Educational College. He is also the winner of Special Subvention of State Department P. R. China.
Í Under the leadership of Principal Liu, SBJBS pursues advanced educational idea and strict, normative, creative and efficient system of education and administrative management, developing SBJBS rapidly into an outstanding pay school in China. Besides, Minister of Ministry of Education Quebec will be Principal in honor in SBJBS and famous educational expert from Canada the vice principal in SBJBS to participate the management in teaching.
& Faculty and staff
Í SBJBS has both foreign teachers and native teachers from China. They are all rich in teaching and researching experiences with world-acknowledged qualification certificates with 80% of foreign teachers for senior secondary students and 32% for junior secondary students.

& Curriculum
Guided by the principle of ※Making students think and practice and grow up through creative activities§, SBJBS focuses on linking between various subjects and the cultural exchanges between China and western countries. Overseas students in SBJBS will each have a Chinese teacher and learn following subjects Chinese students learn.
1. Literature courses such as Chinese, Chinese classic poems, Chinese philosophy, oriental-western ethics, comparative ethics, Chinese history, etc.
2. Art Courses such as Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese drama, performance and hosting, computer drawing, art appreciation and etc.
3. Physical Educational Courses such as Chinese martial art, dancing and etc.
Besides, SBJBS will organize students to visit places of interest in China and modern cities to know more about Chinese ancient culture and oriental civilization.
& Living in SBJBS
∵ MANAGEMENT OF STUDENTS
All the students live on the campus. Class will be from Monday to Friday, one head teacher for each class who are responsible teaching and students＊ life.
SBJBS has an infirmary where doctors will examine student＊s eyes and other epidemics and usual illness.
∵ ACCOMMODATION
Every 4 students live in a room, with toilet and bathroom as well as lockers, desks, computer and telephone inside.
∵ BOARDING
Students can have meals in Chinese restaurant or western restaurant. Nutritionists will prepare recipe suitable to the students growing up. Dishware is strictly sanitized and food quarantined to ensure safety and healthiness.
& International Cooperation
Í In virtue of close relationship between Beijing University and SBJBS and educational idea of Beijing University, Frame Agreement on Educational Cooperation was signed in April 2003 between SBJBS and CEGEP Internationale and Education Internationale Canada. Senior secondary students will get Chinese and Canadian diplomas upon required credits, with which they can apply for any universities in China or Canada. English and French programs are offered to Junior secondary students as well as computer courses.
